The Broad Objectives Of The SAFEER are:

1. to introduce and disseminate creative and effective experiential approaches to teaching entrepreneurship
2. to facilitate the creation of business ventures by enhancing the ability of faculty members and researchers from the business schools in the South Asian countries.
3. to undertake and facilitate research activities in the field of entrepreneurship and allied fields like Innovation, Technology, Venture Capital etc. in the South Asian countries.
4. to develop entrepreneurial skills among the teaching community through applied and effective programmes on entrepreneurship.
5. to accelerate the development of successful first generation entrepreneurs and family businesses among business school graduates.
6. to step up the creation of new ventures that will result in job enhancement both in terms of content and number, thus resulting in economic development particularly among youth and women.
7. to prepare case studies, business plans and small business management exercises.
